A new tradition has begun since 2020.
Dancers in my recreational programs will perform in outdoor smaller performances at park venues.
This may grow into something bigger as we used to do, but time will tell!
Dancers aged 4+ sign up through the Performance Classes listed in each location and are eligible, but not required, to participate in all performances.
For all Fall shows, I write, produce, costume, choreograph, find the music, edit the music, make the programs, props and costumes, shop, do all the scheduling, planning and communication, and ask for help! I use ideas sometimes based on stories we have all heard or sometimes I make up my own! Music is a wide variety of different types and it makes it more interesting to watch and to produce! The performers are all children under the age of 15, most under 10. Occasionally I will have someone older.
Fall Performances continued
Tuition for Fall productions is listed on each location page. Each session is 2 months long, Preparation and Performance. Participation all semester is required.
A non-refundable Performance fee for all participants is also required to help cover the costs of the production, which include all things listed above and extra rehearsal times, renting spaces to rehearse and performance time.
Parent participation is required and responsibilities are listed below.
Extra rehearsals are required in November before our first performance. When combining dancers from Windsor and Fort Collins, we have large group rehearsals set in each location. These can take place on Saturday mornings or Monday evenings.
A professional videographer is available to record our shows and sells copies to be purchased in advance.
